Condition: Map trimmed to margins and loosely laid down on contemporaneous paper.

Condition: In good condition with good margins top and sides and slightly smaller at bottom. Very clear and clean plate-mark, laid down on contemporaneous paper. Modern hand colouring.

Description: Decorative and detailed map of northern Germany showing the Brandenburg, Meklenburg and Pomeranian areas and the coastline of the North Sea. Berlin and Brandenburg are fairly central to the map. Decorative borders and cartouche top left with compass rose, decorative scale and sailing ships.
Condition: Margins trimmed top and bottom into borders and tight on either side. Scuffing down central fold and damage to fold top and bottom, also damage left and right where the map was on time folded in four. Laid down on contemporaneous paper. Modern hand colouring.

Bottom left engraved 'Amstelodami Apud Ionnem Ianssonium'.
Condition: Good condition with full margins and laid down on contemporary paper. Modern hand colouring.

Description: Decorative map of the archbishopric of Saltzburg and the Duchy of Carinthia, and its environs with banner title and decorative armorials held up by putti.
Condition: Trimmed to borders with toning throughout. Laid down on contemporary paper, modern hand colouring.
Information: This map is clearly marked 'Auct Gerardum Mercatorem', and a further notation 'Amsterdami Apud Guiljelmus Blaeu' (bottom right) showing that this must have been one of the Mercator plates bought from Jodocus Hondius II to finish off (his) Willem Blaeu's 'Atlantis Appendix' but definitely found in 'Theatrum Orbis Terranum', published 1635.

Description: Decorative map after Johannes Blaeu showing Lago Maggiore top left and the environs of Vercelli, with Strapwork cartouche in top right hand corner and a scale bottom left. We can assume that Pierre Mortier has changed Blaeu’s original plate only slightly, and this may have come from his Atlas Nouveau.
Condition: Original outline colour, some slight toning, trimmed to border right hand side otherwise good margins all round.
